America is often thought of as the land of the “self-made” man or woman. If we think of people who have “come from nothing” to great fame, fortune, or contribution we think of the likes of Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Madam Curie, Ronald Reagan, Oprah Winfrey, Albert Einstein, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Perhaps best known for his role in “The Terminator” movie franchise, Arnold has had an interesting career. His story is one of an immigrant who arrived on our shores with just a few dollars in his pocket, became a world-famous body builder, movie star and eventually Governor of California…Yet, in a commencement speech at Stanford, he reminds, and warns, us that nobody, especially himself, makes it without help, no matter how far they have risen.
