During a 2015 TED Talk, Microsoft founder Bill Gates warned that at some point a pandemic was inevitable and that we weren’t ready for it. To be sure, we’ve learned a lot over the past two years that will be useful if there is another pandemic and most experts believe there surely will be. But Mr. Gates says we need to take those lessons and build organizations that will mitigate the effects of what comes after Covid.
