If there are two people who are indelibly imprinted on the information age, they are Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, founders of Microsoft and Apple, respectively. Steve Jobs, sadly, was taken from us too soon; but Bill Gates in his post-Microsoft career has had an impact on Covid vaccines, fusion, malaria, and other philanthropic endeavors.
The power and impact of AI seems to be growing every day at a rate almost too fast to absorb. If we are in a new age, it might be profitable to hear what one of the key players of the preceding one has to say about it. In a post in his GatesNotes blog, Bill Gate writes that “Artificial intelligence is as revolutionary as mobile phones and the internet.”
