One of the great things about a new employee are the “fresh eyes” they can bring to an organization. Being new they offer the lens of different experience and perspectives; they can often tell us things we didn’t know about our companies and ourselves…or have forgotten.
To wit, the polarization of the country that we complain about might be mitigated if all parties took time to see their country through the eyes of those newly arrived who hail from lands far less kind than the one many of us take for granted.
