It’s said that life imitates art: less acknowledged is how long that can take.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 43 years since Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda starred in the movie send up of the traditional office, “9 to 5” which later also became a hit Broadway show. “The Evil HR Lady”, Suzanne Lucas, in a recent blog post lists the innovations this trio introduced in their office after kidnapping their boss that have become standard HR Operating Procedure today.
