A number of years ago, a major cable news channel had as its tag line “Fair and Balance” but changed it “Most Watched, Most Trusted.” It’s too much to expect any one source to be a totally objective source of information, given that he news media is made up of humans. But organizations and each of us can do a better job of managing our own biases; especially when it comes to politics. A few years back I shared an offering from Adfontesmedia.org which provides a frequently updated Media Bias Chart that shows where your favorite news source lands on the political spectrum.
